Conversion Builder

Release date: 04/12/2018

Page: Settings > Conversion Builder

By default the DJ Attribution dashboard pulls in conversion data using the eCommerce Transactions Javascript tag via AMP. Customers who do not sell products on their website were not previously able to utilize these attribution tools. With Conversion Builder, users can assign monetary value to any high value actions taken by customers on their website and treat those as conversions. Conversion Builder allows customers to define the criteria for these high value events, so any event matching that criteria that is detected by the Traffic Cloud will be treated like a conversion in the Attribution reporting and assigned the designated amount of revenue. When adding a new conversion type, it can take up to 24 hours before the DJ Attribution dashboard is refreshed to account for the new conversions.

Channel Builder

Release date: 04/09/2018

Page: Settings > Channel Builder

The Traffic Cloud comes with a default set of channel rules that supports the DJ Attribution dashboard. These rules tell us which conversions to count for which channels. Channel Builder enables customers to customize these channels to report on attribution the way they run their business. For example, the default Paid Search channel could be split into "Branded Paid Search" and "Unbranded Paid Search" and revenue would be tracked for those separately.
