DemandJump has provided several JavaScript tags to get data to flow from your website to the DemandJump. Users can hover over each tag and click the Copy to Clipboard function to copy the script to your clipboard. Some of the scripts are personalized for your account, including your appId and cookieDomain. It is very important that you do not edit these scripts prior to adding them to your site to avoid errors.

What scripts are available to add to your website:

  • Core JavaScript Tag (Required): This powers the website analytics information the Dashboards > Overview page
  • User Tracking: Allows you to identify actions individual users take by passing a User ID
  • Event Tracking: You can create structured events like playing a video, adding an item to a cart, or downloading a whitepaper and report on that information
  • E-Commerce Transactions: Populates the Commerce dashboards with online order information
  • Add/Remove from Cart: Report on the products that customers are adding to their cart

How to install the AMP JavaScript tag with Google Tag Manager:

  • Log in to Google Tag Manager
  • Navigate to 'Tags' on the left-hand navigation panel
  • Click 'New' to create a new tag
  • Give your tag a name  (e.g. 'DemandJump AMP - Core Tag')
  • Click the 'Tag Configuration' box and choose 'Customer HTML' under the 'Custom' section
  • Copy your JavaScript tag from DemandJump and paste into the 'Custom HTML' box in Google Tag Manager
  • Next, click the 'Triggering' box and select or create the appropriate trigger for the JavaScript tag
  • The AMP Core JavaScript should load on every page view
  • The eCommerce JavaScript should load on only the thank you/order confirmation page
  • Click 'Save' in the upper-right corner, then publish your Google Tag Manager container
